José Closs

José Closs has been a keen photographer for the last 20 years. She retired from academia in 2017 and is now trying to make up for lost time, work life having done its best to destroy any lurking creativity

She is interested in producing images that highlight the extraordinary elements of our ordinary surroundings.  José works in both monochrome and colour and is increasingly producing images which draw on abstraction and magical realism.
